Karen has over 20 years of executive-level HR experience across private, public, and non-profit sectors, including Oil & Gas, Construction, Manufacturing, Utilities, Telecommunications, and the Edmonton Police Service. She has worked in both unionized and non-union environments.

As an HR Consultant and Employee Group Benefits and Insurance Advisor, Karen supports small to mid-sized organizations with HR strategy, operations, employment law, employee relations, workforce planning, hiring and terminations and group benefits optimization.

Karen believes strong HR foundations and benefits plans are key to attracting, engaging, and retaining talent, and to building healthy, sustainable organizations.
